A Story That Grows Beyond Boundaries

More than just a narrative, The Transducer is an evolving world where art, science, and technology converge. This project reflects my lifelong exploration of creativity across multiple mediums and disciplines.

The Origin of The Transducer

My need to create is not incidental—it is foundational. From childhood, I was compelled to externalize the worlds that occupied my imagination. I carried my father's old work suitcase filled with pencils and paper, constantly sketching ideas that extended beyond my immediate reality.

In college, I was fortunate to attend a school that merged traditional art techniques with emerging digital tools, allowing me to expand my creative practice. During this time, I explored analog photography, developing images in a darkroom in my parents’ basement, and experimented with projection techniques to enhance my drawings.

Later, I continued to push my creative boundaries—purchasing a machine to experiment with tattooing, refining my skills in photography and digital drawing, and most recently, incorporating mist-like textures into my paintings using vinyl cutting techniques. As I matured, I recognized that creation was not simply an interest, but an essential part of my identity.

In 2020, the global pause provided an unprecedented opportunity to recalibrate my creative process. During this period, I engaged in experimental practices, deepened my visual storytelling, and built a digital presence through Monsieur Jee, sharing artistic explorations that resonated with a broad audience. I had always drawn and sketched on paper, but this period also marked my transition into digital illustration, integrating my iPad as a new tool for creative expression.

An Expanding Storyworld

What had begun as disparate artistic ventures coalesced into a unified vision. In December 2024, I made a definitive commitment: to fully invest my creative energy in a singular, expansive project—The Transducer.

The central narrative follows Nicolas, a protagonist who uncovers the capabilities of The Transducer, an advanced system capable of interfacing with and amplifying bioelectric energy. This speculative sci-fi thriller probes the complexities of human-technology symbiosis, ecological intelligence, and existential transformation.

Unlike traditional storytelling models that rely on a linear progression from script to adaptation, The Transducer is an iterative and multimodal experience, unfolding through diverse media forms, each enriching the story’s evolution. It manifests across:

  • Analog & Physical Media: Sketches, paintings, printmaking, tangible installations.

  • Digital & Generative Media: AI-assisted visuals, interactive experiences, algorithmic storytelling.

  • Sonic Experimentation: Compositions integrating traditional instrumentation with AI-driven soundscapes.

This universe is structured around contrasts and dualities—the interplay of past and future, organic systems and technological augmentation, reality and speculative fiction. The ambition is to create a seamless continuum between The Transducer’s world and our own, leveraging scientific principles and emerging technologies to construct an authentic, plausible vision.
